At Assist at Home Senior Care, our goal is to help our clients achieve the best quality of life possible. We understand that one solution does not fit every situation so we take the time to listen and learn about each client's needs and preferences. This enables us to tailor a care program that maximizes the client's independence and dignity.

 

Understandably, most seniors prefer to stay in the familiar comfort of their own homes. This is more doable than you may think. Most seniors only need help for a few hours two or three times a week to be able to remain in their homes.  If more care is needed we can add on more hours or days.  We provide 3 to 24 hour care and we are available 7 days a week.  All caregivers are certified and given up to date monthly training to help in the care of our fast growing population of people over  the age of 65.  Being bonded, insured and licensed by the state  lets you know we are a responsible business.Workman's Compensation  is carried for each caregiver. 

 

I serve as president of Rabun Medical Network Group and the group leader for Alzheimer Family Support Group of Rabun County.  I want all  of us to be educated and informed about  the medical  and senior services and health agencies that are  available to us in our area.  The better informed we are the better we can meet the need. 

As owner and administrator, I make it my priority to visit each client on a regular basis and work closely with our caregivers to improve the care and safety of each one.  We have a registered nurse on staff  who will make an assessment of care and services needed and also will make regular supervisory visits to each home.  Training is ongoing for all employees, including myself.  Our senior population is growing and new programs and medical advances are being made available  each and everyday.  We strive to stay on the cutting edge.   Mary Lou Faulkenberry
