Mary Lou Faulkenberry, Owner and Operator
Mary Lou has spent over 35 years in Senior Care. Five years ago she moved back to Rabun County, where she was born and started her own senior business. Working in home health care, companion care and nursing homes helped prepare her for her new adventure into the world of small business. She personally meets every client and assess each family’s needs. Volunteering as a leader for the Rabun County Alzheimer’s Family Support Group keeps her abreast of the latest research and findings on Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia. Traveling and reading are her favorite things next to her husband, C.L., three children and five grandchildren. Three of her grandchildren will move to Germany this fall, so lots of traveling will be in the near future.
Guynelle Robbins, Administrative Assistant and Scheduling Coordinator
Guynelle became a part of the AAHSC team September 2007, after working with Regency Hospice in the Clayton office. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays you will find her sitting at the computer and talking on the phone, managing scheduling caregivers for AAHSC clients (the most mind boggling of all duties). Prior to moving to Clayton, Guynelle worked with her husband Jim in his law office in Rome, Georgia. All of her experience has been helpful in the task of interviewing potential caregivers, organizing and maintaining client and caregiver files, processing accounts receivables and managing the daily running of the office. Guynelle brings great sensibility to our team and lots of wisdom that is so needed when emotions run high which often happens in our line of work. She belongs to a local book club and enjoys gardening for relaxation. Another traveling Grandmother, she is off to Oregon and Colorado as much as she can afford.

Sue Antosiak, R.N. Training and Program Coordinator
Sue found her way to AAHSC in January 2008. She moved to Clayton from Safety Harbor, Florida. Sue is an R.N. and her duties include staff training, preparation and presentation of In-Service Training for caregivers. She also conducts Supervisory Client visits every 90 days as needed. Sue is part of the admission assessments process for new clients. She takes part in the interviewing of potential caregivers. An important part of her job is making sure all of our files are up-to-date at all times for State of Georgia requirements. Sue is married and has three children. She is also bringing up a granddaughter, Keegan, who is 4-years-old.

Mickie Smith, Marketing and Special Projects Assistant
Mickie joined AAHSC in July 2010. She was the” missing piece of our puzzle” says owner, Mary Lou Faulkenberry. Mickie does payroll and manages the office on Mondays and Fridays. Mickie works closely with Mary Lou on special projects for seniors. Mickie and Mary Lou met 5 years ago when they started The Breakfast Club, a networking group for professional women. Mickie and and her husband George moved here from Fort Myers, Florida. They have three pugs.
